The structure of the human body

The human body is made of organs. Organs are parts of the body that perform specific and important functions.

The most important organ is the brain. The brain is like a computer. It controls the whole body. It helps us think, remember, move, speak, and feel. The brain sends signals to all parts of the body and tells them what to do.

The second most important organ is the heart. The heart pumps blood through the body. Blood carries oxygen and nutrients to all organs and removes waste. Without the heart, the body cannot survive.

The lungs help us breathe. They take in oxygen from the air and remove carbon dioxide from the body.

The stomach helps digest food. It breaks food into smaller parts so the body can use nutrients. The liver cleans the blood and helps process food and toxins. The kidneys remove extra water and waste from the body and produce urine.

All these organs work together as one system. If one organ stops working properly, the whole body can suffer. The human body can live and function only because all organs work together in harmony.
