Render unto Caesar

Wisdom means knowing what belongs to God and what belongs to people.

The Pharisees asked Jesus a tricky question about paying taxes. They wanted to trap Him with His own words.

Jesus asked for a coin and said, “Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God.”

The people were amazed by His answer. He avoided the trap and spoke the truth.

Through this story, Jesus taught that wisdom brings balance and clarity in difficult situations.
