Joshua is a story about courage, obedience, and trust in God.

Joshua
Joshua leads the people of Israel

Joshua was the servant and helper of Moses. He was a brave and faithful man who trusted God completely.

After Moses died, God chose Joshua to lead the people of Israel into the Promised Land.

God told Joshua to be strong and courageous and promised to be with him wherever he went.

Joshua believed God and obeyed Him.

One of the most famous events in Joshua’s life was the crossing of the Jordan River.

Just as God had once parted the Red Sea, He stopped the water of the Jordan so the people could walk across on dry land.

Joshua also led the Israelites in the battle of Jericho.

God told him to march around the city for seven days. On the seventh day, the walls of Jericho fell down by God’s power.

This showed that victory comes from obedience, not strength.

Joshua led the people wisely and helped them settle in the land God had promised to Abraham.

At the end of his life, Joshua reminded the people to serve God faithfully and not to forget His laws.

Joshua’s story teaches courage, faith, obedience, and trust in God’s promises.
