Jeremiah

Jeremiah is a story about faithfulness, courage, and obedience even when speaking truth is difficult.

Jeremiah

Jeremiah
Jeremiah, the weeping prophet

Jeremiah was a prophet chosen by God at a very young age. God called him to speak to the people of Judah during a difficult and dangerous time.

Jeremiah’s message was not easy. He told the people that if they did not change their ways, Jerusalem would be destroyed.

Because of this, many people hated him, laughed at him, and even tried to hurt him. He was often lonely and sad, but he never stopped speaking God’s words.

Jeremiah is sometimes called “the weeping prophet” because he deeply loved his people and suffered when they refused to listen.

Even though his warnings came true and the city was destroyed, Jeremiah continued to trust God.

At the same time, Jeremiah brought a message of hope. He spoke about a new covenant — a time when God’s law would be written in people’s hearts.

Jeremiah’s story teaches faithfulness, courage, and obedience, even when the truth is difficult to speak. It shows that serving God often requires patience and strength.
