David
David, the shepherd and king

David was one of the greatest kings of Israel. He began his life as a simple shepherd boy, caring for sheep. Even as a young boy, David trusted God deeply and was not afraid of danger.

David became famous when he defeated the giant Goliath. While everyone else was afraid, David believed that God would help him. With only a sling and a stone, he defeated the giant, showing that faith is stronger than physical strength.

Later, God chose David to become king of Israel. He ruled wisely and tried to follow God’s will. David was brave in battle, kind to his people, and devoted to God. He wrote many of the Psalms, which are prayers and songs that people still read today.

However, David was not perfect. He made serious mistakes and sinned. But when he realized his wrong actions, he truly repented and asked God for forgiveness. God forgave him and continued to guide him.

David’s story teaches courage, faith, repentance, and love for God. It shows that even great people make mistakes, but God values a humble and repentant heart.
